Accessibility
Last updated: October 29, 2026
We want everyone to be able to use our websites, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or voice control.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we have done
- All features work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Text and buttons meet WCAG colour-contrast ratios.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- The slideshow can be paused and controlled with buttons or arrow keys, and motion is reduced if you ask your device to reduce motion.
- The site is available in English and French and works at 200% zoom and on small screens.
Known limitations
- Some slideshow pictures contain words drawn into the image (for example “Electricity” or app menus), which may appear in English on the French site. The same information is always given in the text next to the picture.
